You know what else makes me happy? Watermelon.

The third thing that makes me happy today…
The baby ducks that show up every Spring. Well, I don’t think they’re the same ducks from last spring… I’m sure those ducks grew up and moved to somewhere with more cost effective housing. but every year around this time there are the cutest lil duck families swimming in the riverbed. I always stop to watch them.
Then, they get scared and swim faster (even though I am no where near them, I think they smell my desperation).
So I snap a quick pic and run away so they can live their little duckling lives in peace. I love them.
The fourth thing that makes me happy…
When a lady bug lands on you because I’ve always been told that is lucky.
This one didn’t land on me, but I spotted it in the roses and thought that was a tiny bit of luck.
And finally this is making me happy and also obsessed…

The book is funny and real and so entertaining. I am trying to pace myself so it lasts a while, but I can’t stop listening to it. I highly recommend!
